Healthcare Science Week

The week-long event from 11 to 15 March 2024 aims to raise awareness of the vital work of the healthcare science workforce and promote a wide range of careers.

Celebrate Healthcare Science Week 2024 with us!

It's Healthcare Science Week 2024! We're celebrating the exceptional work of healthcare scientists who are dedicated to improving the lives of patients, advancing medical research, and shaping the future of healthcare.

There are over 50 areas of scientific and clinical expertise grouped into these categories:

  • Bioinformatics and data science
  • Life sciences
  • Physical sciences and clinical engineering
  • Physiological sciences

The healthcare science workforce includes support workers, healthcare science practitioners, clinical scientists, and consultant healthcare scientists. They all work hard to ensure accurate, safe, and innovative healthcare solutions used in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and rehabilitative care.

During Healthcare Science Week, we want to ignite curiosity, encourage exploration, and empower the next generation of healthcare scientists.
