Kick start your career in the NHS
If you’re aged 16-24, at risk of long-term unemployment and claiming Universal Credit, the Kickstart Scheme could be for you. It provides 6-month paid job opportunities for young people, where you'll get work experience and employability skills training.
NHSScotland is supporting the Kickstart Scheme. We're offering a variety of roles, where you'll be working at least 25 hours per week and paid at the National Living Wage. These placements will help you get the skills and experience you need to kick start your career!
At the moment, Kickstart is live in NHS Lothian. It will be available in other NHSScotland Boards in the coming months.
