Parents

Subject choices are a big decision – for you and your child.

Sometime between October and March, your child will choose a number of subjects for SQA Nationals, Highers and/or other qualifications. You can get helpful materials and resources from your child’s school, usually from guidance teachers or careers advisers. Parents’ evenings and information events will also help you to find out more. Use this website to find out about entry requirements for NHSScotland jobs. There’s a guide to qualifications on the SCQF website, too. (embed links)
